AEM Construction Challenge is a joint effort of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) and Destination ImagiNation (DI) to expose high school students to the construction industry by providing real-world experiences in construction. The goal of AEM Construction Challenge is to encourage youth to pursue careers in construction.

Farm Journal and Miller Electric Mfg. Co. recently awarded three grand-prize winners of a special promotion an all-expenses-paid trip to the Miller Welding University in Appleton, Wis. While there, the winners met with Miller experts, received welding tips and hands-on training and toured the manufacturing facilities.
In addition, winners received their choice of a Bobcat™ 250 welder/generator or a combination of a Spectrum® 625 X-TREME™ plasma cutter, Millermatic® 212 Auto-Set™ MIG welder and Spoolmate™ 200 Series spool gun. A big ‘hats off’ to the grand-prize winners: Doug Dulmage, Leeds, North Dakota; Duane George, Republic, Ohio; and Joe Hoffman, Osborn, Neb.

The Miller Jet Dragster is back for 2011 — competing in 11 events! Miller is a proud supporter of motorsports at all levels of competition and has teamed up with Larsen Motorsports driver Elaine Larsen, of Haines City, Fla., for another great year of racing.
Also back is the Miller Welding Road Show; a nationwide tour including participation at premiere drag-racing events. Through the Road Show, Miller engages and educates the racing community about welding and the significant role welders play in all levels of the sport.
